7. A specific silicone paste lubricant (3M 08946 or equivalent, part number 00232-19087) is applied to the SRC-SAS area. Approximately 0.2ml of lubricant is used per repair, and it must be spread evenly. It is critical not to use a liquid lubricant.
8. Finally, all parts are reinstalled in the reverse order of removal, ensuring a new steering wheel lock bolt (part number 56115-B1000) is used and all components are tightened to their specified torque values. The customer's radio presets are reprogrammed.

Required Tools or Parts

To perform this repair, the following parts are required:

• Steering Wheel Lock Bolt: Part Number 56115-B1000. A new lock bolt must always be used during reinstallation of the steering wheel.
• Silicon Paste: Part Number 00232-19087 (3M 08946 or equivalent). This silicone paste is suitable for lubricating plastic parts. Do not use a liquid lubricant.

All submitted claims without an associated STUI picture that do not capture the VIN, repair date, or repair are subject to debit.
