The center console has cracked and has sharp corners causing an increased risk of injury. Also may cause one to jerk the wheel if placing their elbow down and not expecting the sharp corner. No accident occurred as of yet, but could if someone else were to be driving my car and place their arm down on the center console. I have to place my arm down a certain way to avoid getting poked. Just wanted to report this as I am not sure if other owners have reported similar issue with their center console developing sharp edges. Would probably be similar to NHTSA campaign number 26V368000

- #11746247June 24, 2026TIRES
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? I purchased four tires from Belle Tires on April 1, 2026, 14 days ago (note: mileage at accident 10,776 vs mileage at tire purchase 10,360 or 416 miles of wear). On Wednesday, April 15th, I was about to change lanes after entering the Tri-State Expressway (route 294) going southbound from Half-Day Rd. (route 22), I had crossed the first two lanes without incident, and moving into the third lane, when I experienced a blowout of my driver’s-side rear tire. The car started a fishtail counter-clockwise spin and crossed the third and the fourth lanes (i.e., the far left lanes) before smashing into the concrete median, separating my Southbound lanes from the opposing traffic lanes. I have kept both the tire and rim in my garage. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? As I started sliding or spinning, I cannot honestly say, whether or not I hit the brakes or can really describe the spinning that occurred. As the rim of blowout tire was evenly torn up on its outer edge, I know that the tire was turning. All I can recall is hearing the car hit the concrete median twice. I know that it had to be counterclockwise since I started going southbound, and after the car came to a rest next to the median, I was facing southbound again. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? I took the tire on it’s rim to the Belle dealer who would not acknowledge a blowout, but he kept insisting that he is not an expert on crash interpretations. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Allstate Insurance, Toyota used a Bosch representative to retrieve the Electronic Data Recording (EDR) information. I have copy of this report available for expert interpretation. No warnings were given prior to this blowout.

Vehicle has an open safety recall (25TD01) for rear traction motor cable corrosion. Corwin Toyota in Boulder, CO was notified in January and failed to order the part. Came in April 14 for the scheduled repair and was told the part was never ordered. It is now May 24 and the recall has still not been completed despite multiple follow-up attempts. Dealership has provided no explanation for the April failure and no confirmed repair date.

I heard loud sound then the tire of driver’s side front was blown out suddenly with warning alarm on the 210 east bound freeway on 10th of May, 2026 at 1:40PM, I stopped in the shoulder then called AAARoad service to change it to the spare tire. The service technician said that the tire has defect and blown out. I visited Toyota Pasadena to change the tire, the service representative suggested to claim the defect to Bridgestone personally because my mileage of car was only 33,416 and I have still warranty of this tire. I reported to Bridgestone but they didn’t do anything to follow up. Tire size is 225/55R29

- #11735141May 1, 2026AIR BAGS
My 2021 VENZA has had an issue with the airbag light coming on. The SRS Airbag Malfunction notification is on when starting the vehicle. Within the first year of having the car I paid to have the system checked and the tensioner and airbag replaced. Three months later the light came back on. I was told the seatbelt got twisted again. Other vehicles under Toyota have active recalls on Airbag issues currently with this manufacturer. I believe this make and model should be included. I am currently having to pay another diagnostic fee in 2026 after only having the preowned vehicle two years to figure out why the SRS malfunction notification has come back on. Of course the light has come on when the vehicle is out of warranty. My safety is at risk if the airbag malfunctions so of course I am taking this notification very seriously. I don't ignore issues like this. Consistent failure in the airbag system is scary. I don't want to have an accident in which the airbag fails. This make and model is not longer being produced but it should be included in Toyota's current airbag recall.

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Venza. The contact stated that while reversing up a steep driveway to enter a roadway, the vehicle reached the top of the incline. The contact attempted to shift the vehicle into Drive to complete the turn, but the vehicle would not allow the gear engagement. Consequently, the vehicle rolled backward down the driveway, through a ditch, and up an adjacent embankment. The vehicle speed was unknown. The vehicle's final stop was hitting a tree from the rear. No air bags were deployed. The vehicle was towed to an Auto Body Shop. The contact stated that both she and her daughter were in the vehicle and experienced back pain and neck discomfort. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 31,000.

- #11729686April 7, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
While driving under normal conditions and driving into my driveway on Thursday, March 19, I experienced a sudden and temporary loss of braking ability. When I applied the brake pedal, the vehicle did not decelerate as expected. This resulted in a collision with a residential fence at low speed. There were no warning lights or prior indications of a braking issue before the incident. The loss of braking appeared to be momentary, but significant enough to prevent me from stopping the vehicle in time. The vehicle has been regularly maintained and had no known prior brake issues although there are times when the brakes skip when traction is involved. There are also sudden issues with the acceleration. Given the safety risk, I believe this incident may be related to a potential defect in the braking system or electronic control systems.

He checked the vin number and said it was not mine. He also if it’s the screen that will be expensive to replace as my car is no longer in warranty

Parked car sitting untouched, came out in the morning to a 2 foot wide spiderweb crack across the whole windshield. Saw through research that this is a common issue with Toyota Venzas of this year. TOYOTA refused to help or assist with this issue even though there was no impact and this is a repeated customer issue.

A large crack appeared on the windshield of my 2021 Toyota Venza. Due to this being a safety issue when driving the vehicle, so I looked into having it repaired by a local shop. When the Venza was taken to the repaired, the repair shop notified me that the issue didn't originate from a rock/chip. The issue was with the windshield or the windshield installation. After a quick Google search, it came to my attention that this is a frequent issue with this year and make. There are class action lawsuits about this issue. This needs to be addressed by Toyota.

Seems to be an issue with the rear hatch and the locking system. Without any recent rain or snow the locking system will get frozen and not close correctly or open correctly. We though the hatch was closed but it popped open while backing up. We had taken the car to the dealership. The issue has occured twice.

On 29 Nov 2025 while braking at low speed (<10 mph) to park, my 2022 Toyota Venza Hybrid suddenly lunged forward despite firm brake pedal application and no accelerator input. The vehicle accelerated on its own and struck a stationary pole causing front-end damage.
