SummaryDESCRIPTION Some customers may experience one or more of the following symptoms: The profile cannot be switched to the Guest Account on the Mazda Connect screen. • When canceling the PIN code entry for profile lock, the screen cannot transition to any screen other than the camera view. • Even after performing a Mazda Connect factory reset, some user settings are not reset. • In “Settings” – “Profiles & Accounts,” the following operations are unavailable: renaming the profile, account linking, and changing automatic data synchronization settings. • These symptoms are due to improper BCM control software. To eliminate these concerns, the BCM control software has been modified. REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Verify the customer concern. 2. Reprogram the BCM with the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS), using Mazda Diagnostic and Repair Software (MDARS II): MDARS II ECU Reprogramming Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY MAINTENANCE Verify the State-of-charge (SOC) in the instrument cluster. MX-30 EV: If the SOC is lower than 26%, charge it to 50% (either by normal charging or quick charging). CX-90/CX-70 PHEV: If the SOC is lower than 1%, charge it to 10% (either by normal charging, quick charging or engine running).

There are 612 vehicles affected by Emission Recall 8026C and 1,997 vehicles affected by Special Service Program SSPE1. There are 2,609 total vehicles affected by these two concerns. Subject Vehicles: Model Subject VIN range Subject production date range 2026MY CX-50 Hybrid 7MM VA**** TN 142667 – 145555 From September 8, 2025 through September 26, 2025 **Only VIN’s in this range and with an “OPEN” status in eMDCS are affected. The subject VIN and production date ranges are based on all the subject vehicles regardless if the vehicle is in the Emissions recall or SSP. Emissions Recall 8026C: On certain CX-50 Hybrid vehicles, inappropriate battery labels were attached to the center pillar and the hybrid battery beneath the rear seat. QR codes printed on these labels are incorrect and do not link to the battery information website, the required information related to the vehicle’s traction battery cannot be displayed. This condition does not comply with Section 1962.6 (Battery Labeling Requirements), Title 13 of the California Code of Regulations. Special Service Program SSPE1: On certain CX-50 Hybrid vehicles, inappropriate battery labels were attached to the center pillar and the traction battery beneath the rear seat. QR codes printed on these labels are incorrect and do not link to the battery information website, the required information related to the vehicle’s hybrid battery cannot be displayed. This condition does not comply with Section 1962.6 (Battery Labeling Requirements), Title 13 of the California Code of Regulations. Although only the six states (California, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Vermont and Washington) have adopted the battery labeling requirements of Section 1962.6 starting with the 2026MY, Mazda is also implementing corrective action for vehicles in all other states. Repair Outline, Photo Requirement and Label Ordering: For both campaigns, attach two labels to each vehicle; one on the B-pillar and the other on the hybrid battery beneath the rear seat. • Label Kit Ordering: The part used in this campaign is not ordered from the Dealer Assistance Group (DAG). The label kit is ordered from eSTORE via a specific procedure outlined in the Parts & Warranty information. Please follow detailed instructions in the document on how to order the labels. Each order will appear in your dealers list of eSTORE orders and be shipped overnight delivery free of charge. • AVIS rental vehicles in SSPE1: This SSP includes approximately 900 vehicles owned by AVIS rental car. All AVIS repair facilities are authorized to do this repair, but if a vehicle is at your Mazda dealer for a different warranty repair, the SSP can be completed. • VITALLY IMPORTANT: All warranty claims will be manually reviewed. There are 3 required photos that must be submitted with each warranty claim exactly as specified in the repair procedure. Claims with incorrect photos will require a re-repair at the dealer’s expense.

SA-011/25 10/16/25 and 02/27/25 DESCRIPTION Some customers will report that their fuel door (AKA, fuel filler door, fuel lid, and fuel-filler lid) was stuck closed and would not open to refuel the vehicle. Follow the repair steps below unless the conditions outlined in TSB 09-007/25 - FUEL-FILLER LID PANEL IS DEFORMED for 2019-2025 Mazda3 and 2020-2025 CX-30 are present. REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Check for pry marks around the door opening. Are there any pry marks? YES: This is due to outside influence and is not covered by Mazda warranty. NO: Continue to the next step. 2. Check the fuel door lock operation. a. Lock the doors and verify if the fuel door lock is locking. NOTE: The default setting is a 90-second delay after the doors lock, but the customer can set that to 0, 30, 60, 90, or 120 seconds. b. Unlock the doors and verify if the fuel door lock is unlocking. NOTE: There is no delay to this function, but the fuel door must be locked to confirm it is unlocking. See the lock note above. Is the fuel door lock operation working correctly? YES: The fuel door repair IS NOT covered by Mazda warranty. The fuel door lock is OK and the door was damaged because the vehicle was not unlocked. NO: The fuel door repair IS covered by Mazda warranty. The fuel door lock is NOT OK and damage to the door was done in order to access the lock. NOTE: If the door was already broken when it arrived at the dealership, Mazda will pay for the fuel door repair under warranty if the vehicle does NOT have an emergency release. Mazda will NOT pay for the fuel door under warranty if it has an emergency release.

Wait 10+ minutes. Reconnect the 12V battery and retest. Inform the customer that Mazda is aware of the condition and is working on a resolution. Vehicle driving operation is not affected during these conditions. No repairs or component replacements should be attempted at this time. The vehicle may be released to the customer.

MT-002/19 09/30/19 and 12/19/19 DESCRIPTION If an engine assembly is replaced after a catastrophic internal mechanical failure, clean the intake manifold internally before installing a replacement engine assembly. If the intake manifold is not cleaned properly, the replacement engine may fail prematurely. Metallic debris from the old engine (with catastrophic internal mechanical failure) may rest inside the intake manifold. When the new engine assembly is installed, debris in the intake manifold will be ingested into the new engine and cause internal damage. Clean the intake manifold internally to remove any debris from old engine before installing the new replacement engine assembly. If the intake manifold cannot be properly cleaned internally, replace it.

Example: The attached video shows that the vehicle is in Irvine, CA; however, when the driver asked for directions, the system responded with a location in Washington State. Temorary Workaround Search the navigation destination manually, instead of using Google Assistant . REPAIR PROCEDURE Perform Factory Reset NOTE: Factory Reset will remove all customer settings. In addition, the pre-installed applications will also be reset to their factory settings. Get permission from the customer before you proceed.

Index User profile is not displayed on the top right corner Unable To Switch Out Of The "Driver" Profile Center Display Freezes If "Cancel" Is Selected Instead Of Entering Profile Lock Code REPAIR PROCEDURE If the Recovery procedure above does not resolve the issue, perform the following: 1. Disconnect the 12V battery. 2. Wait about 1 minute. 3. Reconnect the 12V battery and retest. Inform the customer that Mazda is aware of the condition and is working on a resolution. Vehicle driving operation is not affected during these conditions. No repairs or component replacements should be attempted at this time. Vehicle may be released to the customer.
