- #11753341July 28, 2026BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS, BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA
The backup camera system malfunctioned, resulting in a blank or distorted display screen when the vehicle is placed in reverse. This system failure deprives the driver of rear visibility and disables the rear parking collision warning, creating a safety hazard when backing up. I previously brought the vehicle to an authorized Chrysler dealership while under factory warranty specifically to report this backup camera failure, but the dealership noted they "could not duplicate" the problem at that time. The camera was later replaced, but the same defect has reoccurred. Mopar portal records confirm the dealership service visits, and the vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

- #11738203May 15, 2026SERVICE BRAKES
The brake rotors on my 2023 Chrysler 300C failed prematurely at 25,000 miles. The vehicle is equipped with a factory-installed Brembo four-piston high-performance brake system. The failure presented as brake pedal pulsation and vibration during normal stopping, consistent with warped rotors, which reduces braking effectiveness and control and poses a risk in any situation requiring emergency braking. No warning lamps or messages appeared prior to the failure. The issue was confirmed by my authorized Chrysler dealership, however warranty coverage was denied and the failure was classified as wear and tear. This complaint is consistent with NHTSA Complaint ID Number 11661039, filed May 14, 2025, which documents an identical failure on a Chrysler 300 equipped with the same factory Brembo brake system, with rotor warping reported at just 5,260 miles under normal driving conditions. That complaint similarly attributes the failure to excessive heat generated by the Brembo calipers causing premature rotor warping, suggesting this may be a broader issue with the Brembo brake configuration on this vehicle platform

- #11669025June 24, 2025FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
I bought my car, Chrysler 300 2021 at the Hemet CA Dealership in 2021. Hemet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The car presented with several issues including, difficulty starting, engine misfires, stalling, and decreased fuel efficiency. The low fuel warning light on my car's dashboard would not come on when gas was low at all, until it left me stranded in the freeway far away from home and a dealership. I had to take it in to closest car service center to have the fuel pump replaced. These fuel pumps should last for 100,000 miles or more. My car had only 69,101 miles. The gas level on the dashboard was stuck at the level when I added gas the last time, again not indicating that it needed more gas. I do not see any recalls issued on FUEL PUMP for my cars year, make and model. But a lot of people have reported the same issues. Can someone respond to this email? I want Chrysler to understand that this is not acceptable. This issue should be part of a recall. My rotors warped with 5,260 miles and dealership would not cover the issue stating it is wear and tear. The brembo brake calipers are large and creates to much heat and causes the rotors to overheat and warp.

Vehicle manufactured 12/2021. Purchased NEW 5/28/2022. Slight oil consumption between changes. Noticed engine had rough idle similar to misfire August 2024 shortly after an oil change@24,272 mi. NOTE Check Engine light did NOT appear. Car taken to dealership on 10/9/2024 with complaint of rough idle and diagnosed. Service Record states: diagnosed pending multi-cylinder misfire - valvetrain is slightly noisy - removed both valve covers to find Cylinders 1,4,5,6 have ROCKER ARMS WITH NEEDLE BEARING FAILURE (emphasis mine) - no cam damage-replaced all rockers on both sides-complete. - #11649188March 19, 2025ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, POWER TRAIN
Just had this problem on my 2019 Chrysler 300. Recall came years after I had it and after I sold it. I got lucky and found out and got a reimbursement for the repair. Recall issued for "faulty Diode on Alternator". Very dangerous b/c the car will just cut out on you when you are trying to accelerate... like crossing a road etc. My 2019 I didn't have long enough to see if it was an issue but now my 2023 Chrysler 300 is doing the same thing. Would not surprise me if it's the same faulty parts for every model. When you accelerate it just putters and loses power. My 2019 I got reimbursed on it had white smoke and ended up burning out another $1000 of electronics that I did NOT get reimbursed for. It's one of those things Idk if they can detect it until it breaks or not.

About 2 months ago the passenger seatbelt in my vehicle just tore out of nowhere. The seam seemed to unravel and it completely broke. Took it to get repaired had some issue but my complaint today is to help save someone from this or maybe others may have had same issue. The seatbelt was poorly made or defective. It could have gone bad but nobody was injured and it took them a fight to fix,it, and never received an apology.

My car turns off periodically while I’m driving and when I’m stopped at a light. This is random, so I didn’t even go on freeways from fear the car will stop suddenly in heavy traffic and I be killed or injured badly I have taken it to the dealer and they keep saying nothing is wrong, last time they kept car for 3 days and said nothing found. I fear for my life, don’t even want to drive the vehicle anymore . It’s happened for the last months I strongly feel, they were waiting for my warranty to expire so they kept saying nothing wrong

My son was in a car accident where he was cut off but able to come to a stop and then he was rear ended which cause his car to hit the car in front of him. His head hit the steering wheel and knocked him unconscious briefly. The airbags did not deploy and there is now a notification to service airbag system. Police report is not yet available.

- #11630482December 12, 2024SERVICE BRAKES, UNKNOWN OR OTHER
I purchased the Chrysler 300 touring of May 23, 2023. This was suppose to be brand new. After, a week, the car was having issues in the steering and I had too report the car dealership because they were giving me a hard time but finally, after, reaching out to corporate, the car dealership, fixed the steering and added an addition warranty. Now, there’s something going on with the tire pressure. The tire pressure for this car shouldn’t be at 28,29,30 and 31. So, now, every time, I have a local tire place to check the tire pressure, the air continuously lose pressure. So, today on Dec 12, 2024, in order to stop, my brakes went all the way down to the floor and that’s not normal. So, there’s something wrong with the brake lines. I’ve been having issues with this supposedly be brand new car since purchase. The week after purchasing this car, because of the steering before it was fixed, I almost got into a car accident. This car really, really scares me.

-Took Vehicle to Service Center, they told me to call 800-992-1997 and ask for authorization for replacement. - Its at the service center for Larry Miller Chrysler, so I am not sure why they are not calling to get approvals. The seatbelt should never have unraveled or torn, they keep saying my warranty just expired, but this is a factory issue, no seatbelt should be tearing every and I have had the car for 3 years now. My concern has nothing to do with the safety recall, this is a separate issue. My seatbelt on the driver side has began unraveling, Ive been driving since 16 teen and never saw this before. I went to buckle my seatbelt about a week agao from 10/14/2024 and it would not pull through and I notice it was actually torn in half to the middle mark of the canvas belt. This is a FYI, i have taken it to dealership, they are looking it over. They did without looking just say to me out the blue I have never heard of this you must have cut it. ( That was insulting, why would I, [XXX] just cut my seatbelt)? The Larry Miller Dealership, service center is a joke.
