Your site shows no recalls. I got a recall for a repair I had to have done a few months ago. I just got the recall notice from GM, but when I called to inquire about a reimbursement, they state the recall was released in 10/2025. Even though your site says there was no recall at the time.

Year/Make/Model: 2025 Cadillac XT6 AWD Sport Mileage at time of incident: ~12,233 COMPONENT: Service Brakes, Hydraulic / Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM: While driving on a main road 1 mile away from the dealership, the brakes failed without warning. The vehicle was driven directly to the dealership (Les Stanford Cadillac, Dearborn, MI) for emergency inspection. This is the same defect that has now caused brake failure twice in approximately 5,500 miles: a brake booster vacuum sensor failure that previously triggered a brake assist warning and was "repaired" on 10/07/25 at 6,747 miles, then recurred and was "repaired" again on 05/29/26 at 12,233 miles. Both repairs replaced the brake booster vacuum sensor assembly, performed by the same dealership and same technician, yet the underlying defect has continued to recur. This is a serious safety defect that creates an unreasonable risk of loss of braking ability while driving, with potential for a crash, injury, or death to the driver, passengers, or other motorists. WHEN DID THE PROBLEM FIRST OCCUR: Originally October 2025; recurred June 2026 with loss of brakes on a main road. WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME: Vehicle driven directly to dealer for inspection following loss of brake function 1 mile away.

The vehicle has had breaking issues since I purchased it in September 23, 2023. On April 26, 2025 the car completely shut down while driving it for no apparent reason. Took it to the certified Cadillac dealer (see picture). Said, it was fixed. May 11, 2026 started doing it again while driving, turning, backing up or at a light. Breaks keep saying need to be serviced too. Had it towed in to Cadillac dealer they can’t get it to repeat problem or get codes to find out problem. I got Cadillac involved to help. Case number 98248412. Had to pick car up today spoke again with service manager at Cadillac dealer. He said, car has major issues and it’s rearing its ugly head (car is defective). He can’t get the codes because whatever is going on with car it’s not talking to the computer. I’ve been on a major highway and the car just shuts down. I’ve asked Cadillac to repurchase the car because I am afraid of being in a major accident and killed because I never know when the car will shut down. Cadillac told, me to keep driving the car until it showed up again and they would not repurchase it. If I get rear ended on a 4 line highway by a semi truck because the car just shut down myself and family could be killed.

My Cadillac has experienced a history of repeated mechanical/electrical issues and has spent extended periods of time out of service at the dealership for repairs. On today’s date, while driving at normal roadway speed, the vehicle suddenly lost all power without warning, creating a dangerous safety situation. The vehicle became extremely difficult to control and lost normal drivability functions while in traffic. I was fortunately able to safely maneuver the vehicle to a stop without a collision or injury. Due to the complete loss of power and unsafe operating condition, the vehicle had to be towed. I will get it to the dealership when they open again for business on Monday. Given the repeated repair history and this most recent dangerous failure while driving, I no longer believe the vehicle is safe or reliable to operate. I am requesting investigation of this safety-related defect and have initiated a formal buyback review request with General Motors/Cadillac.

2025 CADILLAC XT6 AWD SPORT, VIN [XXX] , PURCHASED NEW FROM [XXX] [XXX] ON FEBRUARY 20, 2026. THE VEHICLE'S AUDIO SYSTEM INTERMITTENTLY ACTIVATES ALL SPEAKERS WITHOUT COMMAND WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. THE CONDITION OCCURS UNPREDICTABLY AND PRODUCES A SUDDEN LOUD AUDIO EVENT INSIDE THE CABIN THAT STARTLES THE DRIVER AND CREATES A DRIVER- DISTRACTION HAZARD. THE VEHICLE HAS ALSO DEVELOPED A PERSISTENT DASHBOARD RATTLE, WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE RELATED TO THE SAME UNDERLYING BODY- CONTROL-MODULE OR WIRING ISSUE. I HAVE REPORTED THESE CONDITIONS TO CENTRAL [XXX] . THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY OUT OF SERVICE FOR AN UNRELATED CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE (SEE COMPANION NHTSA COMPLAINT FILED BY THIS CONSUMER). I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT SO NHTSA CAN EVALUATE WHETHER OTHER 2024–2026 CADILLAC XT6 VEHICLES HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME UNCOMMANDED AUDIO ACTIVATION AND WHETHER THE CONDITION WARRANTS INVESTIGATION. NO CRASH HAS OCCURRED. NO INJURIES HAVE OCCURRED. THE RISK IS DRIVER DISTRACTION FROM AN UNEXPECTED LOUD AUDIO EVENT WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. 2025 CADILLAC XT6 AWD SPORT, VIN [XXX] , PURCHASED NEW FROM CENTRAL [XXX] CADILLAC ON FEBRUARY 20, 2026 WITH 3,950 MILES. WITHIN APPROXIMATELY TWO MONTHS OF DELIVERY THE VEHICLE DEVELOPED AN ABNORMAL ENGINE NOISE AT COLD START AND AN INTERMITTENT VIBRATION DURING DRIVING. I REPORTED BOTH SYMPTOMS TO CENTRAL HOUSTON CADILLAC BY PHONE AND TEXT MESSAGE. DEALER PERSONNEL TOLD ME THE NOISE WAS "NORMAL" AND THAT "ALL CADILLAC/GM VEHICLES HAVE THAT ISSUE." BASED ON THAT ASSURANCE I CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AS FAMILY TRANSPORTATION, INCLUDING WITH MY MINOR CHILDREN ONBOARD, ONE OF WHOM IS A SPECIAL-NEEDS CHILD. IN APRIL 2026, APPROXIMATELY TWO MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE, I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO CENTRAL HOUSTON CADILLAC FOR AN UNRELATED CONCERN. AT THAT VISIT THE DEALER DIAGNOSED A CATASTROPHIC INTERNAL ENGINE DEFECT AND ADVISED THAT COMPLETE ENGINE REPLACEMENT IS REQUIRED. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY OUT OF SERVICE FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 DAYS WHILE THE ENGINE IS REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. A CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE IN A NEARLY-NEW VEHICLE CREATES A SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER, STALLING, LOSS OF CONTROL, OR UNDERHOOD FIRE. THE DEALER'S INITIAL MISCHARACTERIZATION OF THE WARNING SYMPTOM (COLD-START KNOCK) AS "NORMAL" IS PARTICULARLY CONCERNING AND SUGGESTS A POTENTIAL PATTERN ACROSS 2024–2025 CADILLAC XT6 VEHICLES THAT NHTSA SHOULD INVESTIGATE. NO CRASH HAS OCCURRED. NO INJURIES HAVE OCCURRED. NO FIRE HAS OCCURRED. HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATED WITH CHILDREN ONBOARD AFTER THE DEFECT BEGAN MANIFESTING AND BEFORE THE DEALER PROPERLY DIAGNOSED IT. I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT SO NHTSA CAN EVALUATE WHETHER A PATTERN EXISTS IN THIS ENGINE AND TO ENSURE THE DEFECTIVE ENGINE REMOVED FROM MY VEHICLE IS PRESERVED FOR POTENTIAL INVESTIGATION. The contact owns a 2021 Cadillac XT6. The contact stated that while reversing, the rear-view camera intermittently displayed a blank image. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure and informed the contact that the contact had to pay for the rear-view camera software update. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V709000 (Back Over Prevention). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 33,000.

Cadillac XT6 – VIN: [XXX] echanical Failures, Ignored Transmission Recall(s), and Dealer Negligence I write this letter to formally place General Motors Company on notice of a pattern of serious mechanical failures, ignored safety recalls, and dealership indifference involving my Cadillac XT6, referenced above. This vehicle has been presented to Sam Leman Cadillac of Champaign on multiple occasions for mechanical issues, including—but not limited to—cooling system failures, thermostat defects, persistent check-engine warnings, and abnormal vehicle operation. Service records confirm repeated interventions, temporary fixes, and diagnostic acknowledgments without meaningful long-term resolution. More alarming, however, is the dealership’s failure to appropriately address and disclose known transmission recalls and other safety recalls applicable to this vehicle. Despite GM’s documented awareness of widespread transmission issues affecting similarly situated vehicles, the dealership elected to either minimize, ignore, or defer corrective action—placing convenience and cost avoidance above consumer safety. This conduct raises serious concerns, including: •Failure to act on known manufacturer defects •Failure to honor GM’s recall and safety obligations •Repeated return of a vehicle to service despite unresolved defects •A pattern of repairs that suggests systemic failure, not isolated incidents •Improper shifting of financial responsibility to the consumer for manufacturer-caused defects Consumers do not purchase Cadillac vehicles with the expectation of serving as unpaid beta testers for unresolved engineering flaws. Nor should they be forced to navigate a maze of denials and deflections when defects arise that GM already knows exist. This is not a maintenance issue—it is a manufacturer and dealer accountability issue. The vehicle has experienced repeated fuel system failures. The fuel pump control module (FPCM) is a known General Motors issue on similar vehicles, but this specific vehicle was not included in a recall. The vehicle now displays diagnostic trouble code P2635 – Fuel Pump Flow Performance. The engine hesitates and loses power during acceleration, especially under load or when the vehicle is warm. Prior to this code, the vehicle repeatedly reported fuel injector-related faults. Four fuel injectors have already failed and required replacement, causing significant financial loss. Based on diagnosis, the injector failures appear to be secondary damage caused by improper fuel control from the fuel pump control module. This condition creates a potential safety risk due to unexpected hesitation and reduced engine power while driving. The issue appears to be related to a systemic electronic fuel control problem rather than normal wear.

The contact owns a 2021 Cadillac XT6. The contact stated that while sitting inside the vehicle, the vehicle felt unbalanced. Upon inspection, the contact noticed that the H-pipe was leaning more to the right side. The H-pipe was not centered as intended. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that in the past, while the vehicle was serviced, no one had noticed that the H-pipe was off-center. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 37,000.

The vehicle was previously recalled for an intermittent backup camera failure. Prior to me purchasing the vehicle, the recall was completed and documented as repaired. I went in to the Myrtle Beach Cadillac dealership for reoccurring issues with the camera failing exactly as disclosed in the recall. It will randomly cut to a black screen with a camera icon crossed out in red. It is a true safety issue that leaves my family as risk of a collision or injuring someone else.It cannot be recreated on request as it is happening intermittently. The dealership refused to inspect the safety recall repair for proper operation and only stated that the recall repair was completed.

[XXX] My 2021 XT6 occasionally stumbles when accelerating from a stop, both when the engine is running or when it has auto stopped, only occasionally. If the car won't accelerate properly, it can cause a collision, especially if making a left hand turn at an intersection. It started happening about June 2025 and kept reoccurring more frequently as time passed. It was brought to a dealer early August, they said that it might be a bad battery, I installed a new battery on August 19, 2025, it was ok until late November 2025, then it started happening again. Yes, it can be inspected upon request. There were no warning lamps or messages, symptoms or problems prior to the failure. This has been happening about 6 months now. The rear camera blanks out when backing out of driveway into the sun. It prevents me from seeing cross traffic and pedestrians. The dealer looked at the system and said it something I had to live with. This seems to be an intermittent problem, as sometimes it suddenly starts to work, or when I back into the street over the curb gutter. If I back the vehicle into the garage and drive out into the sun, the front camera is not affected by the sun. I feel this is a safety hazard to pedestrians and other vehicles. The dealer seems very indifferent to the problem

am experiencing multiple issues with my 2024 Cadillac XT6 that affect drivability and potentially safety: 1.Intermittent Transmission Shift Jerk •The vehicle occasionally exhibits a sudden “jerk” or abrupt shift while accelerating, mostly in 2nd–3rd or 3rd–4th gear. •The issue is intermittent and cannot be consistently reproduced during dealer visits. •The dealer has performed two transmission fluid flushes within one month, but the problem continues. •No diagnostic trouble codes are stored, making it difficult for the dealer to duplicate, but the jerks are noticeable and concerning while driving. 2.Startup and Engine/Transmission Noise •Upon starting the vehicle, I hear unusual noises described as [whining •Noise is also sometimes heard during idle or even briefly after the vehicle is turned off. •These noises occur intermittently, sometimes during cold start or light driving, and may indicate an underlying transmission, engine, or accessory issue.
