Vehicle: 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron Premium Plus quattro Safety concern: Side airbags failed to deploy during a significant driver's-side collision. On XXX, I was driving my 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron at approximately 45 mph in [XXX] when another vehicle, a Hyundai, struck the driver's side of my Audi near the front driver's door and front wheel area. Immediately before the collision, I noticed the other vehicle in my left peripheral vision and heard tires screeching. I do not know the Hyundai's actual speed. The impact caused extensive damage to the driver's side of my Audi, including the front and rear driver's-side doors, door seals, and surrounding structure. The front driver's door could not be fully closed afterward. My head struck the driver's-side window during the collision, and my glasses were dislodged. I was evaluated in an emergency department and diagnosed with a concussion. Despite the significant driver's-side impact, neither the driver's side curtain airbag nor the driver's seat-mounted side airbag deployed, to my knowledge. The airbags in the striking Hyundai reportedly deployed. My Audi continued traveling mostly straight after the collision until I brought it to a stop. I observed that the Hyundai had rotated after the collision. I am concerned that the Audi's side-impact restraint system may not have functioned as intended. I am requesting that NHTSA review this incident as a possible airbag nondeployment safety issue. Following the collision, the myAudi app displayed the front windows as open, although my husband confirmed that the windows were intact and fully raised. The app also indicated that doors were open; the driver's front door was physically damaged and could not latch completely. I am seeking preservation and independent retrieval of the crash data and airbag control module information before the vehicle is repaired, dismantled, or salvaged. Repeated A/C Failure in Extreme Heat Component: Air conditioning/cabin cooling Mileage: Approximately 49,350 miles as of XXX The vehicle repeatedly loses all A/C cooling in cabin in extreme heat (100°+F), with cooling returning in cooler weather. On XXX, traveling to [XXX], the A/C failed near [XXX]. After shutting off the vehicle for 20 minutes without success, we drove another 1.5 hours in 110–115°F heat with our two children. Audi Las Vegas serviced the refrigerant system August 10 at 47,069 miles, temporarily restoring cooling. On XXX, the A/C failed again in approximately 101°F heat during a trip to [XXX]. We drove approximately one hour of our trip home without cooling, with our children and [XXX] puppy, having to make unplanned stops along the way to attempt to stay cool. Audi Carlsbad could not reproduce the issue during its XXX inspection and recommended testing in hotter conditions. At Audi Rancho Mirage on XXX staff reportedly acknowledged frequent A/C issues with this model in hot climates. The dealership stated the system apparently prioritizes battery cooling over cabin cooling in high temperatures and offered no repair. The A/C failed again at pickup in 106°F heat and remained inoperative during our return trip. Safety Concern and Current Status Unpredictable loss of cabin cooling in extreme heat risks heat-related illness, particularly for children and other vulnerable occupants. The defect persists despite three dealership visits and refrigerant service. No warning lights, injuries, or crashes have been reported, and no permanent repair or definitive diagnosis has been provided. As of XXX the vehicle had approximately 49,350 miles, and we have limited its use to essential trips. We request that NHTSA investigate whether this recurring failure constitutes a safety defect. I'm writing to report a serious safety issue with my 2023 Audi Q4. Today, Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at approximately 7:18 p.m. Eastern, my vehicle suddenly failed to accelerate from an intersection while I was driving, which nearly caused an accident. I was making a left turn from a T-intersection crossing a lane with opposing traffic, but my car accelerated very slowly causing the perpendicular to break (and honk). Fortunately, they were paying attention and slowed appropriately. Given the danger this poses, I want to formally report it so it can be investigated. This has not been confirmed by a dealer No warning lights were visible.

I tried to charge my Q4 at home, the charging connector to the car had warning red light. So, I checked up dashboard. It's said that AC charging is limited. Eventually, I can't charge. I went to the audi dealer. They said it's simple software issue. Waited 2 hours, one day works fine. Same issue. They don't know what to do. I am still wating from audi USA.

Re; Audi Q4 etron vin [XXX] On XXX while on my driveway, approaching the garage, a sound came from the dashboard, a written message appeared on the screen, and almost simultaneously the car suddenly accelerated, going thru the partially open garage door, hitting the left side of the car already parked on the right side of the garage, and hitting the central air conditioning unit in front of it, damaging both cars, the air conditioning unit, garage cabinets, sink, and shelving. We have asked Audi to look into the car’s computer/recorder to see what information they can extract without avail. We recognize that some cases of unexpected unintended acceleration may actually be driver error, and we thought that Audi would be more interested in investigating this issue than we would be. Audi's position was essentially that since our insurance company had paid us for the damaged cars nothing more needed to be done. We thought that before this car is taken apart, it would be important to find whether or not this was truly unintended acceleration.
