The left mirror is a blind site when making a left turn at stop signs. The front hood is too high. In a parking lot you can't see the curbs. Toyota said jack up the seat. That does not help. kids can't be seen in front of the car. This is a safety issue. The number of selections to set the car for driving don't work for older people. The gas and break petal don't work for disabled people.

- #11728938April 2, 2026POWER TRAIN, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, ENGINE
SUPPLEMENTAL TO COMPLAINT ID: 11728745. My 2025 RAV4 failed at 39,919 miles. Toyota Corporate is acting in bad faith to deny the 60,000-mile Powertrain Warranty. The Case Manager repeatedly calls only after 6:30 PM when the dealership is closed to avoid resolution. Furthermore, the representative is now using "legal threats"-directing me to their legal department-as a tactic to stop me from pursuing this valid warranty claim. This is a safety hazard and a violation of federal warranty law.

- #11728745April 2, 2026ENGINE, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, POWER TRAIN
My 2025 Toyota RAV4 (39,919 miles) has a permanent "Check Engine" light. On March 18, 2026, diagnostic codes P24517F and P214502a were found, indicating a failure in the switching valve and fuel tank pressure sensor. Toyota USA and the dealer are refusing to honor the 60,000-mile Powertrain Warranty and Federal Emissions Warranty. I am reporting this as a safety defect because the vehicle may lose power or stall on the highway, creating an immediate crash risk. The manufacturer's refusal to repair a known emission/fuel defect in a new 2025 model has left me with an unsafe vehicle for over 15days.

There is a stress fracture to the windshield starting at the bottom of the glass where it attaches to the body of the car, below the wipers. It’s not a chip nor was it caused by an object. It’s a semi circle crack. Two employees at the dealer glass department concurred that it’s not damage from a foreign object hitting and that it’s a stress crack. Yet dealer refuses to cover hands warranty. Car has less than 12,000 when this cracked.

This 2025 RAV4 hybrid XLE Premium is in permanent shape of inoperable due to continues electrical system that drains the 12v battery. Anytime I want to drive the car I have to charge the 12v battery for 3-4 hours before I can attempt to drive the car. This is all the time problems that start about 2 weeks into the purchase of the vehicle.

- #11724494March 15, 2026STEERING, LANE DEPARTURE: ASSIST
This 2025 RAV4 will randomly move or jerk to the left while driving straight. It does not matter where you are in relation to the center of the lane. Sometime the movement is gentile and other time it is very strong bordering on violent. It will do the same thing with the lane keeping assistance, and pre-collision warning active or disabled. This issue could cause an accident if the jerky movement happened at the wrong time with another car alongside or approaching from the opposite direction. The movement has pushed me across the line a couple of times and it has happened at 15 mph all the way up to 65mph. The dealer did an alignment which did not change the problem. Now they want $425 to recalibrate the forward camara which 'might correct the issue'. This could get very expensive very fast when it should be covered under warranty. There are no warning lamps or messages to indicate the problem. This is a dangerous issue not just an inconvenience.

Glass moonroof /sunroof on top of 2025 Rav4 sudden shattered under normal driving conditions on freeway. The noise sounded like a gunshot and could have caused distraction / an accident. No evidence of impact from outside. No overpass that a rock could have come from. The dealer has not confirmed the issue, but it looks like there may be lawsuits underway for other model years. Car is currently with dealer. No warnings or messages ... it just suddenly happened while driving

We were on a funeral procession when suddenly the car accelerated at a very high speed and hit the end of guard rail head on. My wife on the passenger side and two people at the back were all taken to the emergency room. I got pinned on the steering column and taken out via the roof. I had severe abrasions on both legs, wife has 3 broken ribs, the 2 passengers suffered whiplash and complains of chest pains. Car was purchased 11/3/2025 and I took it for a recall fix about a month ago at Burien Toyota dealership where we bought it. Incident # 2026-55959 Seattle police. At present our car insurance is investigating and our claim # is 082 0356939 Allstate.

After purchasing a new vehicle, I have become aware of a persistent and widely reported problem with the Toyota/Lexus battery maintenance/charging logic for the 12V batteries in their HEV and PHEV vehicles. This results in chronic under-charging of the 12v battery due to low charging voltage even during normal use and produces a failed 12v battery within 6-24 months. The problems are so widely known and investigated by owners that there is now a complete white paper on the subject: [XXX] Toyota/Lexus needs to respond to this and provide a software patch that addresses the well-documented issue so that new owners like me are not confronted with a choice between (a) driving the vehicle and risking getting stuck in an unpleasant or dangerous situation when the vehicle fails to start; (b) modifying the manufacturer's system and risk voiding my warranty; or (c) spending additional money on diagnostic equipment for something that is a clear manufacturer error. Traveling on interstate, 60 mph. All of a sudden, I heard a loud noise followed by a thump. Managed to get off the exit and pulled over onto the shoulder. Noticed the sidewall had separated from the tread of the tire. 5343 miles on vehicle. Original equipment tires.
