Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform the this inspection. Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Check to determine if the issue has been resolved. Continue with repair if necessary. Also, please inform the customer not to use Rain-X in the system to avoid this issue. Summary
Service - Four Piece Oil Pan Gasket All Cummins Equipped Vehicles ONLY - The replacement oil pan gasket can be a four piece gasket rather than a single piece gasket. This applies to Cummins 5.9L and 6.7L engines only. Installation: 1. Clean the oil pan T-joints.~ 2. Fill the T-joint between the pan rail/gear housing and pan rail/rear seal retainer with sealant. Use Mopar® Silicone Rubber Adhesive Sealant or equivalent. 3. Apply a 2-mm [0.063-in] bead of Mopar Engine Sealant RTV Silicone Rubber Adhesive, to the oil pan flange.~ 4. The four piece gasket will need to be assembled to make a complete oil pan gasket. 5. Lay the oil pan gasket(s) onto the oil pan flange.~ 6. Ensure the oil pan gasket segment joints are properly aligned. 7. Apply a 2-mm [0.063-in] bead of Mopar Engine Sealant RTV Silicone Rubber Adhesive, to the top of the oil pan gasket.~ 8. Install the oil pan. Starting from the center and working outward, tighten the oil pan bolts to 28 N·m [21 ft. lbs.].

Flash: 2.4L Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following DTCs have been set: · **P1185 - General Pressure Sensor Correlation.** · P0441 - EVAP Purge System Performance. · P0506 - Idle Speed Performance Lower Than Expected. · P0171 - Fuel System 1/1 Lean. · P050D - Cold Start Rough Idle. · P0507 - Idle Speed Performance Higher Than Expected. · U0402 - Implausible Data Received From TCM - (Transmission Control Module). · P1607 - PCM Internal Shutdown Timer Rationality. · P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. · P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak. · P0133 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Slow Response. · P2610 - PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance. · P1607 - PCM Internal Shutdown Timer Rationality. · C0501 - Wheel Speed Signal Left Front Rationality. · C0507 - Wheel Speed Signal Right Front Rationality. · C050D - Wheel Speed Signal Left Rear Rationality. · C0513 - Wheel Speed Signal Right Rear Rationality.
