Ordering the injectors by VIN number or manual identification in ETK may result in an incorrect part number.

SummaryThis Service Information bulletin supersedes SI 12 33 14 dated December 2015. SUBJECT Fault Code 1D2008 Stored in DME. The Service Engine Soon light is on. Fault Code 1D2008: Map thermostat: jammed open is stored in the DME. There may also be a complaint of low heat output with lower outside temperatures. CAUSE During the engine warm-up, the engine coolant does not reach operating temperature within the DME's allowable time limits. This is caused by either a faulty thermostat inside the transmission oil heat exchanger or a faulty engine characteristic map thermostat.

Summary"?SUBJECT During the QC1 the BMW Assist Test Call Fails . After the transport mode is deleted (during the QC1), a BMW Assist (SOS) test call is made by pressing the SOS/ E-Call button. However, the call only connects via voice (no data is transmitted). The operator indicates that a crash call has been sent. ATM fault code ""B7F348 - Provisioning without signature OTA"" is stored. The provisioning of the ATM (Advanced Telematics Module) has failed."

Summary?SUBJECT Incremental Map Update of the NBT EVO Head Unit . Customers may be receiving onscreen messages concerning updates of their navigation system. Database mapping procedure in vehicles with the NBT EVO Head Unit (Head Unit high 2) has been changed to automatic, periodic, Over- the-Air (OTA), regional, incremental updates. INFORMATION Customers may not be familiar with the messages seen prior to, during, and after this update which may prompt inquiries. The following information provides an overview of the automatic OTA process that has replaced the previously required BMW center visit for navigation map updates. UPDATE DETAILS Updates can occur up to 4 times per year, ensuring that customers have the newest map data available. At a minimum, updates occur during first 2 years of vehicle ownership at no additional charge to the customer. At additional customers expense updates can also occur for up to 4 years (depending upon vehicle retail date and BMW assist options selected). Please check the BMW connected drive service cockpit for details on an individual vehicles coverage. To access the BMW connected drive service cockpit refer to the attachment.
