SummaryCERTIFICATION LABEL AND VIN PLATE REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION Because of collision damage or other vehicle repair, a replacement “Certification Label” or “VIN Plate/Label” may be needed. HINT: Certification Label = FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) label. These items may be available from Nissan by request if certain criteria are met. This bulletin lists the criteria and provides an application form for such replacements. · The “VIN Plate/Label” (metal plate or vinyl label) is attached to the instrument panel or body on the driver side at the base of the windshield (see Figure 1). · The “Certification Label” (vinyl adhesive label) is located on the lower area of the driver side B-Pillar (see Figure 1).

Summary*****Dealer Announcement***** To ensure continued customer satisfaction and confidence, Nissan is now updating the temporary hold on specific model year 2025 Altima vehicles identified in Service Comm to a dealer inventory quality action to update the software to the Body Control Module (BCM). On affected vehicles, the battery can potentially be drained due to the BCM waking up periodically when ignition is off. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaigns I.D. PD124 • New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information • Some vehicles may still be in transit. Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for applicability. 2. Please do not drive, loan, sell or trade the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality action. 3. Use the attached procedure to remedy any vehicles affected by this quality action prior to sale. 4. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed to close the campaign in Service Comm and release the vehicle.

This commitment requires Nissan to periodically place certain vehicles on temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold to ensure that these vehicles, as delivered to our customers, meet our exacting standards and our customers’ expectations. Effective immediately, Nissan is placing a temporary Quality Assurance Hold on certain specific 2025 Nissan Altima vehicles while Nissan investigates a potential concern with the Body Control Module (BCM). Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Please do not retail the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality hold. In order for Nissan customers to have the best experience, please discontinue test drives in the affected vehicles. 2. Nissan is currently investigating a potential customer satisfaction concern regarding the BCM. Additional information on next steps will be provided as soon as possible.
