Summary"?Incorrect Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Labels Installed. Twenty-six ""Model Year 2014"" vehicles have incorrect VIN labeling that indicates they are ""Model Year 2015."" Incorrect VIN labels were applied at the factory. The 9th and 10th digits of the VIN indicate that it is a MY 15 (F), when in reality the vehicle is a MY 14 (E). This includes the NHTSA compliance label, VIN number in the windshield and the VIN number on the front strut tower."

SummaryService Action: Retrofit of the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. Internal corrosion could form in the engine coolant temperature sensor which is integrated into the thermostat housing (not replaceable). This corrosion leads to internal bridging of the contacts, which can cause an inaccurate engine temperature reading. This false reading could lead to difficulty in the engine starting or a "Service Engine Soon" lamp being illuminated.

Summary?Service Engine Soon Lamp (MIL) On with DME Fault 120408 Stored. The Service Engine Soon lamp (MIL) is illuminated with a reduction of engine power. Fault 120408: Charging pressure control: Switch-off, pressure build-up blocked is stored in the DME. CAUSE 1. This fault normally sets as the result of a problem with another component of the engine management system. 2. When there are no faults, the vehicle voltage might drop momentarily below the threshold of 9.985V, typically during an MSA engine start. This could result in the charge-air control being switched off.

SummaryVehicle Honks for 20 Seconds when Left in Neutral. INFORMATION This is normal vehicle operation if the customer leaves the vehicle (with the key in pocket) in Neutral without being shifted into Park. The honking noise notifies the customer that if the shifter is not put into Park position, the vehicle will roll away or, if left alone for longer periods, have a discharged battery. Please refer to the attached information sheet for further information. Additional information may be found in the Owner's Manual for the vehicle. ATTACHMENTS View PDF attachment M610414_Flyer.
