- #11609475August 19, 2024VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
I have been driving many times with cruise control on. With cruise control on and I hit a bump or pot hole in the road, the cruise control stops and the car immediately slows down. This happened many times as we drove [XXX] in Nevada and crossed cattle guards, and it has also happened while driving on two lane roads and I hit a pot hole or change in pavement levels. When the cruise control comes off, the cars slows down immediately as regenerative braking takes over. This is very dangerous on the highway to say the least!! - #11609472August 19, 2024SERVICE BRAKES
If I am applying the brakes and I hit a bump in the road, like going over train tracks, the brakes release and I have to reapply my brake pedal. This is very dangerous. If there is a car in front of me and this happens, I may not be able to stop in time. An example, if I am coming downhill to stop behind other cars and I hit a pothole in the road, my brakes would release and unless I act fast, the care could move forward into another car.

Fisker sent me a recall notice TSB30032401 with instructions to contact an authorized service provider to fix a recall-related issue. I am unaware of any as Fisker was to provide this service itself but no longer is doing so. The phone number on the recall notice 1-844-FISKER1 is no longer active.

The vehicle's entire electrical system is down after a random alarm that start approximately 7am EDT on August 14, 2024. The alarm lasted approximately 30 minutes in duration. After attempts to disarm the alarm via the vehicle's key fob failed, I disconnected the level 2 charger from the vehicle and after approximately 10 mins the alarm stopped but the entire vehicle is inoperable. I have software version 2.1 over the air update for over 3 months. If this malfunction occurs during my drive to work commute. This complete loss of power could cause a catastrophic incident on the roadway. The main concern is software version 2.1 update does not address the current safety recall concerns with powertrain modules and other related safety concerns.

On 3 occasions, the digital cluster screen has gone completely black, for couple of seconds, no visible driving speed, no visible anything on the screen, it is very unsafe to drive a vehicle not knowing at what speed you are traveling, no warning or no information about drive mode or battery charge info, very scary too

Fisker improved the issue when driving over a bumpy road the regen braking releases lurching the car forward but this has still not been fully fixed even in version 2.1 of the software. I still have this happen and it is very dangerous when the braking releases and then you have to slam on the brakes. The brakes at this point are already engaged so the car does not stop quick enough to avoid an accident.

When braking and encounter an uneven/rough surface or a surface of a different amount of traction, the brakes "disengage" and the vehicle coasts for a short period until the brakes re-engage. This is a very disconcerting feeling and negatively effects the braking effectiveness and distance. Apparently a software update was supposed to address the issue, however, I am currently on version 2.0 and I still experience the issue. The incident happens on a regular basis since I took delivery of the vehicle on 1/11/24. The incident happens at all speeds.
