  This bulletin involves inspecting and updating the radio software, if required. A customer may experience one or more of the following conditions. Navigation Failed? message is displayed. Navigation is inoperative or inaccurate. CD player will not play songs and/or locks up the radio. Clock will not automatically update to local time. Clock may be off by several hours. (RA3 Only). HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Some Uconnect App remote commands do not execute with the vehicle. Radio Apps are inoperative. Adds Apple Siri® Eyes Free capability for iPhone® owners. Auto Play can now be configured. Radio will lock up. Radio display screen is black or blank. Battery drain - due to radio remains on. HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Track names may be displayed twice in USB or SD media modes. SD, USB or BTSA modes may become non-functional for a given ignition cycle. Duplicate song titles may be displayed in USB mode. Last track is displayed but next track is being played. Navigation function may reset itself after using One-Shot VR. Intermittently the Global Positioning System (GPS) may lose its location for a short time and causes routing and positioning concerns. GPS and Internal cellular device may become inoperative and causes a loss of GPS and cellular functions. A false Pop-up message may appear. Vehicle Phone Requires Service? even though the vehicle?s phone works properly. Back-up camera image may be unclear or jittery/stutters at times. Mute button status was not being displayed correctly. Presets where not shown correctly or were deleted. Park Sense tone continuously on. Radio display may show. Please insert USB Stick? Navigation may not start or may lose position. Rear camera may show a black screen for 3 seconds upon going to reverse. iPod would not resume playing after a VR session or phone call. Radio reset, screen lockup, blank screen or sluggish system.

  Turbocharger, Turbo Speed Sensor, Turbo Gaskets and Seals 1. Do Not Replace Turbocharger for Exhaust Brake Operation Complaints. Do not replace the turbocharger for complaints of exhaust brake operating when the Exhaust Brake switch is off. Replacing the turbocharger will not address these complaints. Update the PCM with the new software version to correct this issue. 2. Turbo Speed Sensor is Now Serviceable. If a Turbocharger Speed Sensor is being replaced for a P2580 or any other reason, the Turbo Speed Sensor is now available separate from the Turbocharger Kit. do not replace the entire Turbocharger Kit. 2013-2015 Chassis Cab or Pickup - PN 68210095A$ 2007-2012 Chassis Cab or Pickup - PN 68039104A$. 3. Replace Exhaust Gaskets with Turbocharger Removal.~ If turbocharger is removed/replaced, the following items are not reusable and must be replaced: Turbocharger Gasket Turbocharger Outlet Seal Turbocharger Band Clamp If the front exhaust pipe is removed/replaced, the following items are not reusable and must be replaced.   Summary

  Park Assist Sensor 1) Active or Stored DTC of Signal Shape / Waveform Failure fault: B128E-25, B128F-25, B1290-25, B1291-25, B1292-25, B1293-25, B1295-25, B1296-25, B1297-25, and/or B1298-25, check for snow/mud/ice/obstruction and clean the Sensors, both front and back (behind bumper) of sensor. The snow/mud/ice can be behind the bumper, sensor retainer and/or the sensor which may cause customers to think they have an issue since they cleaned the front of the sensor/bumper, but not behind where dirt/mud/ice snow can accumulate. Once the Bumper and Sensors are completely cleaned and clear of snow, mud, ice, and/or obstruction, the sensors must activate in order for the faults to go STORED. After cleaning the Bumper and Sensors, turn off the engine, wait 10 seconds, turn on the engine and then place the vehicle in REVERSE so that the sensors activate. The faults will go STORED. 2) Active or Stored DTC code of Short to Ground fault: B128E-11, B128F-11, B1290-11, B1291-11, B1292-11, B1293-11, B1294-11, B1295-11, B1296-11, and/or B1298-11, or if you have an active or stored DTC code of Performance or Incorrect Operation fault: B128E-92, B128F-92, B1290-92, B1291-92, B1293-92, B1294-92, B1295-92, B1296-92, B1297-92, and/or B1298-92, then check the wiring behind the sensor. Specifically, ensure that the connector behind the park assist sensor is fully mounted. Ensure also, there is no dirt, corrosion, or damage in this connector behind the park assist sensor as this will also cause a Short to Ground fault. With potential wiring issues addressed, the sensors must activate in order for the faults to go STORED. After all sensors are properly connected (you will likely hear a click once the connector is fully seated on the sensor), turn off the engine, wait 10 seconds, turn on the engine and then place the vehicle in REVERSE so that the sensors activate. The faults will go STORED.

  RA3 And RA4 Radio Over The Air Software Updates This bulletin provides information regarding the latest Flash Over The Air update (FOTA) and provides a service technician an overview of the steps a customer will need to take to complete the update. The following improvements are included in this update: Adds Apple Siri® Eyes Free capability for iPhone® owners. Auto Play can now be configured. Adds do not disturb text message feature. The ability to drag and drop icons into the menu bar. Fix for radio locks up/frozen. Fix for stuck on black/blank screen. Human Machine Interface (HMI) improvements. Several navigation improvements. Fix for radio loses time. Charge Complete notification is not received (RU PHEV only). Media devices, Phone pairing and Bluetooth usage improvements. Improved tuner performance. Enhanced Voice recognition (VR) performance. Enhancements in Connectivity Apps (Yelp, Pandora, Aha, etc).
