Shifter Tower If you are working on a vehicle with a noise/rattle or noise/vibration complaint in 5th or 6th gear on decel, the field has had success by simply removing and reinstalling the shift tower from the transmission. Leaving the boot on the tower of the shifter intact, remove the two external boots first to get to the shifter tower. Please attempt this repair first if you have this concern. Follow the service instructions to ensure proper installation of the tower.

RA3 and RA4 Radio Enhancements This bulletin involves inspecting and if required, updating the radio software. Customers may experience one or more of the following:Radio functions/touchscreen locks up (does not affect backup camera). Phone presets do not save. ?Navigation Failed? message is displayed. Navigation is inoperative or inaccurate. CD player will not play songs and/or locks up the radio. Clock will not automatically update to local time. Clock may be off by several hours. (RA3 only). Poor or no connection to cellular network. ?Charge Complete? notification is not received (RU PHEV only). Some Uconnect® App remote commands do not execute with the vehicle. Radio Apps are inoperative. Radio display screen is black or blank. Battery drain - due to radio staying on. Navigation failed message is displayed. Clock not automatically updating to local time. Improvements:Auto Play can now be configured. Media devices, Phone pairing and Bluetooth® usage improvements. Add the ability to drag and drop icons into the menu bar. Left Front Brake Hose Weepage This bulletin involves inspecting the left front brake hose and Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) wire harness, replace if needed. Customers may notice a low brake fluid and/or Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) warning indicator(s) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set:C0031-1D - Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor - Circuit Current Out Of Range. C0031-2F - Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Erratic. C0031-62 - Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Compare Failure. C0049-7B - Brake Fluid - Low Fluid Level.

(4720271) to arrange a fast track return for the parts. Cummins engineering is currently investigating the root cause to this condition and would like to get these parts back for analysis.

Rear View Camera In the case for inoperative camera, radio screen is blue or black in reverse mode. Before proceeding with the normal procedure call Ali Ikram at (248) 576-9265 Mon- Fri between 8 am - 4pm. If you do not get a response within 15 minutes continue with the normal diagnostic procedure. Before replacing the camera, please disconnect and clean harness and camera connector. Clean & dry both connectors. If replacing the camera, please replace wire harness also and return parts to QEC.
