SummaryConcerns: Wind deflector Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the wind deflector will not reach its end position when closing the convertible top in the event of unfavourable tolerances on the affected vehicles. As a result, the convertible top cannot be closed completely. To prevent this, the wind deflector on the affected vehicles was greased as an immediate step as part of workshop campaign WC40. In the course of this new campaign, the wind deflector must be replaced with a technically optimised wind deflector as a long-term effective measure.

SummaryConcerns: PDK control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. A shift rod movement at a shift gate that was not selected can be detected incorrectly on the affected vehicles due to a software error. As a result, fault code "P1767 - Hydraulic multiplexer fault" can be stored in the fault memory of the PDK control unit and the PDK transmission can switch to the reduced driving programme until the ignition is switched off and on again.

SummaryConcerns: PDK transmission Information: There is a possibility of moisture condensing in the vent line of the PDK transmission under certain environmental influences and getting into the inside of the PDK transmission through the ventilation connections. The transmission oil/water emulsion created as a result of this is deposited on the inner contacts of the multiple plug connection for the PDK transmission and causes electric shunt circuits there. If this happens, the PDK transmission can malfunction, e.g. switch to the reduced driving program (limp-home mode).

SummaryConcerns: Electric change-over valves Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is the possibility that electric change-over valves, which may be susceptible to the ingress of moisture due to insufficient sealing, were installed in the affected vehicles. This can cause the change-over valves to malfunction over time. As a result, control over the closing valves in the clutch cooling system (PDK) and gear wheel set (PDK and manual transmission) may be impaired. In extreme driving situations (e.g. race starts, high ambient temperature, frequent gear changes), the transmission or clutch could overheat.
