  VK56 CONNECTING ROD CAP BOLT SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION A change has been made to the connecting rod cap bolt service part. The new service part (B in Figure 1) is visually different, but is a direct replacement for the original equipment part. IMPORTANT: See page 2 for the procedure to inspect the cap bolt service part for excessive stretch. If replacement of a single connecting rod cap bolt is indicated for any given connecting rod, both connecting rod cap bolts of the affected connecting rod must be replaced as a set.

  2004 - 2015 TITAN; VIBRATION AT 40 ? 50 MPH IF YOU CONFIRM A low frequency vibration at 40 ? 50 MPH AND The vehicle is equipped with the correct tires as shown on the TIRE AND LOADING INFORMATION LABEL on the driver side body side outer panel (B-pillar), (see Figure A). AND All 4 tires have been verified to be within specification for RH1 uniformity at or below 118 N (12 kg, 26.5 lbs.) as described in NTB11-062. ACTION Replace the 2 rearmost cab body mounts, nuts, and bolts with the new ones listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin.

  NISSAN; DTC P0456 CAUSED BY EVAP LEAK AT VENT CONTROL VALVE O-RING IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON in an APPLIED VEHICLE with DTC P0456 (EVAP VERY SML LEAK) AND - DTC P0456 is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap (refer to NTB13-097). - An EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister. - The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause. ACTION 1. DO NOT REPLACE the vent control valve. 2. Replace the vent control valve O-ring seal (O-ring). - Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE on page 2.

  Air Bag Control Unit Reprogram Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is committed to customer satisfaction. Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to reprogram the Air Bag Control Unit (ACU) in 2004-2014 Titan, 2005-2014 Frontier, and 2005-2014 Xterra vehicles. The current ACU rollover-sensing calibration logic could allow for unintended curtain air bag deployment in rare instances occurring under certain unique driving scenarios, usually involving unpaved roads or off-road where one side of the vehicle is higher than the other. The ACU reprogramming will improve rollover-sensing calibration to address certain unique driving scenarios, and help prevent unintended curtain air bag deployment, while maintaining the design intent for deployment in rollover crashes. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified beginning in June 2017 and asked to bring their vehicle to an authorized Nissan dealer to have the remedy work completed at no cost to the owner.

This repair will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number P7318 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.
