  DTC B12A3-72 FOR FUEL PUMP RELAY STUCK OPEN SERVICE INFORMATION DTC B12A3-72 (Fuel Pump Relay Stuck Open) may be stored when the IPDM monitor circuit internally sees 0V to ground at pin #46. This is caused by an internal short to ground in the IPDM or one of the IPDM fuses listed below is open. If B12A3-72 is current or reoccurs after erasing DTCs, inspect the model specific fuse first. If the fuse is not open replace the IPDM.  Altima – Fuse # 58 (page 2)  Kicks – Fuse # 54 (page 3)  Versa – Fuse # 61 (page 4) For additional IPDM diagnostic information refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM): Section ELECTRICAL & POWER CONTROL > POWER CONTROL SYSTEM > IPDM E/R. See model specific fuse locations starting on page 2.

  2019-2020 ALTIMA; DTC P2015 OR P2004 STORED DURING COLD WEATHER IF YOU CONFIRM The customer stated that the MIL was on after starting the engine in cold weather, below 0°F. And DTC P2015 (INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL VALVE POSITION SENSOR) and/or DTC P2004 (INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL VALVE) are stored in the ECM. DTC status is either current or past. And No problem is found after performing the DTC diagnosis per the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). ACTION Replace the intake manifold.

The software update in the following service procedure is to address the items below:  Stability improvements and “bug” fixes.  Android Auto skips while playing music. Refer to steps 1 - 4 to confirm that this bulletin applies. HINT: The update-software only needs to be downloaded once and then can then be used on multiple vehicles until other infotainment software is loaded onto the USB drive to overwrite the original data.

  LANE CAMERA AIMING VEHICLE REFERENCE VALUES NOT IN ESM SERVICE INFORMATION If the lane camera requires aiming, the values in Table A on page 4 must be used.  For all other models/model years, consult the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). The following CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus) figures and steps are only provided to indicate where the VEHICLE REFERENCE VALUE from Table A is to be entered. The entire camera aiming procedure must be followed to complete the aiming procedure.  Refer to the ESM section: CRUISE CONTROL & DRIVER ASSISTANCE > DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM > DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM > BASIC INSPECTION > LANE CAMERA UNIT > CAMERA AIMING ADJUSTMENT. 1. Turn the ignition ON. 2. From the C-III plus home screen, select Diagnosis (One System).

And Diagnosis has determined the exhaust valve timing control solenoid valve is the cause. ACTION Replace the exhaust valve timing control solenoid valve. NOTE: The exploded views in the 2019 and 2020 Altima ESM may incorrectly label the exhaust valve timing control solenoid valve and the exhaust valve timing intermediate lock control solenoid valve. The exhaust valve timing control solenoid valve is positioned below the exhaust valve timing intermediate lock control solenoid valve on the front cover.

  2020 ALTIMA; BLIND SPOT WARNING AND/OR REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY IF YOU CONFIRM  The customer states the Blind Spot Warning indicator does not illuminate while driving when there is a vehicle in one of the detection zones (outlined in green in Figure 1). Or  The customer states the Rear Cross Traffic Alert indicator does not illuminate while in reverse and a car is approaching the side of the vehicle near the rear bumper. Or  Unavailable Side Radar Obstruction is displayed in the Vehicle Information Display. HINT: DTC C1E11-97 or C1E91-97 (SENSOR BLOCKAGE, SOW DETECTS A BLOCKAGE) may be stored as a past DTC. If any DTCs other than C1E11-97 or C1E91-97 are stored, diagnose those DTCs before proceeding with this bulletin. ACTION 1. Confirm the current ICC/ADAS 2 part number. 2. Reprogram the ICC/ADAS 2 and perform the blind spot warning action test, if applicable.
