SummaryPREVENT FRONT AXLE THREAD DAMAGE DURING AXLE NUT REMOVAL SERVICE INFORMATION If an Applied Vehicle needs to have a front axle nut removed, for any reason, the staking of the nut into the axle keyway must first be removed. The essential tool (part number # J-52982, Figure 1) required to remove the nut staking, is called out as a âCape Chiselâ in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), and must be used to prevent thread damage to the axle (see Figure 2 on page 2). ï· The Cape Chisel arrived at dealers in December of 2020. ï· Damaged threads, due to improper removal of the stake placed in the nut, will not be covered by warranty. For information on using the Cape Chisel, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM): Section TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT > LH/RH.

SERVICE INFORMATION The Applied Vehicles are equipped with a wireless communication device called a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). With an active Infiniti InTouch Services⢠subscription the TCU communicates with the Infiniti Data Center to provide various security and convenience services. This bulletin contains important service procedures that must be performed properly in order to set-up and maintain the telematics system for the Applied Vehicles. ï A table has been provided on the next page that lists the model and year-specific steps required to successfully configure a TCU after it has been replaced. ï A check OFF sheet has been provided on page 11 to print and check off steps as they are performed. Please staple the completed Check OFF Sheet to the repair order.

Summary2019-2020 QX50; CVT FLUID COOLER HOSE LEAK IF YOU CONFIRM CVT fluid is leaking from the upper CVT fluid cooler hose, at the CVT cooler. Or The upper CVT fluid cooler hose has become detached while driving. NOTE: If CVT fluid is leaking from any other location, this bulletin does not apply. Refer to the ESM for further diagnostic and repair information. ACTION Follow the service procedure in this bulletin to replace the upper CVT fluid cooler hose and clamps. ï· Do NOT follow the procedure in the ESM for CVT fluid cooler hose replacement. ï· Do NOT reconnect the original upper CVT fluid cooler hose.

Once an automatic collision notification is performed, the function becomes disabled. The TCU must be reset to re-enable the automatic collision notification function.
