The exterior paint around the Accord roof seam area may peel off. American Honda is extending the warranty on the paint of the affected vehicles to 7 years from original date of purchase with no mileage limit. This warranty extension does not apply to other paint issues like rock chips, scratches, bird droppings, sap, wraps, dents, collision damage, and client-induced damage, etc.

After February 2022, restoring services, will require a customer pay TCU replacement performed by a service technician at an authorized dealer.
