ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The Bluetooth handsfree system has sound problems within incoming and outgoing calls. The radio is working between, Sirius XM and Bluetooth music from the cell phone, with no issues along with AM and FM transmissions. However, when on the phone there are random crackle noises from the speakers. Most of the time it's when they're pronouncing letters that creat a higher pitch sound in normal conversations followed with the crackle. It's happening throughout the call and is consistent on every call. Test were completed with the Dealership’s Service Adviser where we replicated the issue with his cell phone separate from mine. After researching this, I have discovered is is not an isolated problem. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ENGINE, SERVICE BRAKES
I am writing to request urgent assistance with my Chevrolet truck, which has experienced several serious issues recently. On September 25, 2024, while driving, the steering wheel became stiff, and the engine's power stopped. The dashboard lights remained on, and I was unable to start or turn off the vehicle. The Chevrolet app initially indicated an airbag system issue. However, the next day, it reported problems with the engine and transmission system. I scheduled an appointment with the Bomnin dealership for September 28. When I arrived, the service advisor informed me that due to a backlog, the truck could not be inspected immediately and advised me to return in a month. Consequently, the vehicle has not yet been seen by a Chevrolet mechanic. On September 29, the Chevrolet app also indicated an issue with the anti-lock braking system. To date, I have not received a clear explanation or resolution for these problems. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide to expedite the repair process and address these issues as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
While traveling with a 5th wheel camper (Grand Design), that has solar panels the brake controller stops providing a connection to the trailer brakes. This is a know problem of the 2024 Chevrolets and so far there is not a fix that I know of. This is a big big safety issue because the trailer is heavy and hard to stop. The documentation from Chevrolet states the issue is once the battery charges and has a higher voltage than the truck battery it will surge the system and deactivate the braking system on the camper. This also hold true when the camper battery is too low, again the truck battery will surge the system and deactivate the braking system on the camper.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL
The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH hauling a trailer, the brake control disabled message was displayed. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact decelerated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
The Passenger Side door mirror is manufactured with flat glass and Not Convex glass. The flat glass field of view is not nearly wide enough for this large truck. This flat glass combined with the width of the truck (distance from the driver's head/eyes to the passenger door mirror), height and length of the truck creates a substantial risk for an accident while traveling on the roadway, highway or even maneuvering while parking. It is impossible to adjust the flat glass mirror to indicate a smaller car to the right side of this truck, and at the same time, approaching traffic from the right rear. This is particularly dangerous when needing to make a quick "glance and maneuver". The GM Parts department advised there is no convex replacement option or even a convex towing mirror option for this truck. Replacing the flat glass mirror on the passenger side with a commonly used passenger "convex" door mirror glass would correct this hazardous situation.

1. Experiencing intermittent hard shifting accompanied by shock and noise, 2. Unexpected shifting and shifting delays that cause rapid RPM increases. These issues were primarily observed at low gears and worse with stop and go traffic. The check engine light appeared approximately one month after noticing these symptoms.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
WHILE USING CRUISE CONTROL ON FREEWAY AT APPROX 70 MPH WHEN HEADED UP HILL AND THE VEHICLE REACHES APPROX. 2500-3k TACH, THE CRUISE WILL DISENGAGE AND SPEED WILL DROP IMMEDIATELY WITH NO WARNING. DEALER SAYS MANUAL STATES ONE MAY HAVE TO USE THROTTLE TO MAINTAIN SPEED BUT DOES NOT MENTION CRUISE DROPPING OFF. THIS IS AN EXTREME SAFETY RISK WHEN A VEHICLE IS BEHIND YOU ACCELERATING ON THE SAME INCLINE AND YOU SUDDENLY DROP SPEED WITH NO BRAKE LIGHTS ILLUMINATING.

Vibration occurs when driving at highway speed. Vibration can be felt in the steering wheel, drivers seat, and passenger seat. I believe this is related to my vechicles front hub bearing extensions. there was a TSB for this issue on presious model trucks and the same part is used on 2024 models.

The interior of the 2024 Chevy Silverado is trimmed in chrome accent pieces. These trim pieces reflect the sunlight directly into the drivers' eyes while operating the vehicle causing blinding reflections. I have had 2 near miss collisions because the reflection from the trim pieces blinded me momentarily.

Vehicles dash restarted while driving. All error lights came on and the dash cycled back up like when starting the vehicle. This is a safety risk because you cannot see any info on the dash, including speedometer, RPMs and fuel level! I spoke with the dealer, and the dealer stated if they cannot re-create the problem. There is nothing they are able to do and they have not heard of this before. There were no warnings at all for this issue.

After a rain storm the tailgate started malfunctioning. Now it does it all the time even on pure sunny days. It will go up and down randomly without anyone touching a button. It does it so much it drained both batteries, which left the truck inoperable. The dealer said it’s not under the recall that’s out for other trucks and to just bring it up for repair.

The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed and towing a trailer, the trailer brake light turned off, indicating that the trailer brakes were no longer functioning. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the brake control module. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 500. The VIN was not available.

TIRES, TIRES:SIDEWALL
Tires lt275/65r20 is the size. I purchased my truck Oct 2023. The day after i got home. I noticed a bulge in the sidewall of the front tire. I took it to the dealer the next day and they replaced it. But not after they accused me of hitting something. Luckily i had the picture the salesman had sent prior to me purchasing the truck and it was visible there. So a few weeks noticed 2 tires had same problem. Dealer again tried to say it was caused by an impact. They would not replace. so i called goodyear who had no problem replacing them at Belle tire. This past sunday, same tires that were replaced had a bulging in the side walls again! Belle tire replaced AGAIN under goodyear warranty but with 2 different good year tires. So I don't know if this is a good year defect or wrong tire being sold for these large trucks. The safety of my family is important to me, and these tires problems are scary. I purchased this truck from Hubler Chevrolet in Indianapolis.

AC will not run while truck is in idle. I was told by the dealer all GM trucks with the 6.6 gasoline engine this is a standard on them. this is a major safety issue when it becomes 100 F outside.

Bought my truck new in March, after just 1 week i took my truck in after i noticed a loud rattling sound. Dealership replaced the rear section of the exhaust. After just a few days the noise came back. Now GM wont do anything about it. Truck has 11k miles on it now and the noise continues to get louder. Truck is available to be inspected. I dont feel the truck is dependable. Dealership has heard the sound again but wont do anything because GM wont pay for another exhaust system. No warning lights.
