  18308 - Customer Satisfaction Program - Certain vehicles, may have a condition in which the right-hand knuckle wheel speed sensor (WSS) hole is machined approximately 1.6mm off location. The WSS is positioned too far away from the wheel bearing causing intermittent functionality. If the sensor fails, the telltale light for anti-lock brakes (ABS) and/or traction control ? electronic stability control will illuminate, and those functions will be disabled for the duration of the ignition cycle. Replace the right-hand steering knuckle

  18277 - Customer Satisfaction Program - Certain vehicles equipped with RPO MNH (6 Speed Automatic Transmission) may have been built without a transmission case assembly cup plug. As a result, lubrication flow within the transmission may be compromised, and the transmission will wear prematurely. The customer may notice noise coming from the transmission area, or rough or irregular shifting. If the customer continues to drive the vehicle for an extended period after noticing these signs of wear, transmission failure may occur, resulting in a loss of propulsion. Replace Transmission.

  This Preliminary information communicates that acustomer may complain of the Driver Information Center(DIC) intermittently flickering or going blank. It may be noted that this only seems to occur when playing songs via IHeart or Pandora. This may be caused by a software concern in the Instrument panel Cluster(IPC). The dealer is instructed that engineering is working on a resolution to this concern and when it is available a bulletin will be published to inform the dealer of the repair. The dealer is instructed to advise the customer that until a repair is available for this concern changing the station/source or waiting until the song ends should recover the screen.

  Special Coverage. Certain vehicles may have a condition which affects the electrical connection to one of the vehicle?s accelerator pedal position sensors. If this electrical connection is interrupted, the accelerator pedal will still function, but the vehicle will enter a reduced engine power mode in which the vehicle?s maximum acceleration and torque are reduced. Additionally, the Malfunction Indicator Light (Check Engine Light) will illuminate, the ?Engine Power is Reduced? message will display, and a diagnostic trouble code for Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Correlation (P2138) will be set when this condition occurs. Dealers are to replace the accelerator pedal and position sensor assembly as necessary and repair the engine wire harness (Malibu LFV only). The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

  18239 - Emissions Recall - General Motors has decided to conduct a Voluntary Emission Recall involving certain 2018 model year vehicles, equipped with 4-cylinder engines (RPO LHN, LEX, L3A, LYX, LKN, LE2, LCV or LTG). On some vehicles, an electrical connection in the circuit board may fail in the engine control module.
