Refer to SI B65 30 09. Connect the vehicle to the diagnosis system ISTA and activate the navigation system. The code is entered when running the QC1 Pre-Delivery Check test module. Refer to SI B09 04 09. IMPORTANT: No programming is required. WARRANTY INFORMATION Not applicable since the first time activation of the navigation system is part of the QC1 process and cannot be claimed separately.

Summary"Service Action: Program Control Units (CAS). The Car Access System (CAS) software is incorrect, allowing the rear deck lid to be open when the convertible top compartment cover is in the intermediate position. This can cause the convertible top compartment cover to collide with the rear deck lid. AFFECTED VEHICLES This Service Action involves F12 vehicles. In order to determine whether a specific vehicle has had this Service Action completed or is affected by this Service Action, first check the B-pillar label for code number 655. If code number 655 has been punched out, the campaign has already been performed. If code number 655 has not been punched out, it will be necessary to utilize the ""Service Menu"" of DCSnet (Dealer Communication System) or the Key Reader. Based on the response of the system, either proceed with the corrective action or take no further action. Important Note: A Campaign can be reserved in ISPA Light as ""Pending"" prior to submission of a claim. If you find this Campaign reserved, please verify the reason before attempting to perform this repair."

SummaryN55: Engine Difficult to Start at Cold Ambient Temperatures. The complaint may include any of the following symptoms: * The engine stalls immediately after a cold start before driving away * The engine may run roughly or misfire after a cold start * The engine does not start cold or may take several attempts * To assist starting when cold, the accelerator may need to be depressed slightly and the idle speed raised for a few seconds so the engine does not stall This can occur most frequently at outside ambient temperatures between -15°C and + 15°C. It is possible that the Service Engine Soon (MIL) lamp is on with misfire fault(s) stored, but it is equally possible that there will be no faults stored in the DME. Unfavorable DME software Cold start or idling problems may arise due to poor fuel quality. The use of summer fuel during cold outside temperatures may also lead to such problems.

When the ETK data is corrected, a notification will be distributed.

Summary? Bang & Olufsen Sound System: Loudspeaker Illumination. One or more of the following situations may occur concerning the illumination of the Bang & Olufsen sound system loudspeakers: * Illumination is insufficient (not bright enough) * Illumination is not available on all loudspeakers * Brightness cannot be adjusted Loudspeaker illumination settings are dependent on the model: * Different brightness characteristics * Not all loudspeakers are illuminated INFORMATION Explain to the customer that loudspeaker illumination can vary from model to model. For an overview of the illuminated loudspeakers, refer to the attachment. IMPORTANT: The current version of the Owner's Manual for 5 Series vehicles is incorrect. On 5 Series vehicles (F07 and F10), only the main loudspeaker (moving part) in the dashboard and the two loudspeakers in the mirror triangles in the front doors are illuminated. The Owner's Manuals for 5 Series vehicles will be corrected with start of production of the MY2014 vehicles (July 2013).
