SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 80 number 13-04 dated August 9, 2013. Malfunction Indicator Lamp is on. Climate system heating performance is insufficient. Coolant level warning is on. Engine temperature is elevated. ?Limp Home? mode is active. Faults are stored in the transmission control module. Coolant loss is found from one or more control valves: N82, N509, or N488. Coolant may have migrated into the wiring harness through the connector and into various control units. Climate system heating performance is insufficient due to coolant loss, or due to a faulty N82 control valve. Inspection of the coolant control valves N82, N509, or N488 reveals the presence of coolant inside the electrical connector as shown in the illustration. The connectors, wiring harness, and/or connected control units may have been damaged from exposure to coolant.

DTC C10ACF0 (steering end stops not programmed) is logged in the power steering control module, J500 (address word 44). The power steering control module expects to receive a VIN message over the data bus shortly after terminal 15 is turned on. SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 13-94 dated July 24, 2013. The driver?s voice sounds muffled or background noise sounds very loud to other caller during Bluetooth calls. Voice recognition commands are not recognized or voice recognition accuracy is poor. The location of the microphones within the roof module make them susceptible to interference by the vehicle air vents and climate control settings. When the center air vents are pointed upward, they can cause a ?swirling? effect that affects the audio quality of Bluetooth® and voice recognition. This is particularly evident on hot days when the A/C system is set to ?auto?.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 10 number 10-02 dated September 14, 2010. Prior to engine replacement, any debris lodged in transferred assemblies must be removed. If the vehicle's engine experienced a serious mechanical problem, it is possible that small pieces of metal debris resulting from the mechanical problem may have become deposited in the intake manifold, air intake hoses, exhaust manifolds, exhaust down-pipes, turbocharger, supercharger, and/or intercooler. If these pieces are not removed prior to the installation and operation of the replacement engine, the pieces may be drawn into the combustion chamber, which can cause a knocking noise and subsequent serious engine damage.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 48 number 12-33 dated October 22, 2012. After replacing the electromechanical steering with the control unit J500, the unit cannot be coded via SVM spec/actual. All new replacement power steering control units (J500) must be coded and parameterized using online SVM spec/actual or an SVM code. If the SVM spec/actual returns a response of ?Check Hardware?, then the SVM code is required to code and parameterize the new replacement control unit. The SVM code can be found in Parts Bulletin 9-97, which is available online through ETKA.
