SummarySome 2021 Broncos equipped with exterior zone lighting may experience an intermittent single hazard lamp flash when hazards are turned off. This condition is due to a software issue within the vehicles body control module (BCM). This fault is induced anytime a customer activates then deactivates exterior zone lighting lamps while the engine is OFF. This may generate a single hazard lamp flash when the engine is shut off or during an engine auto-start-stop event. Inform customers that this condition can be temporarily corrected by activating then deactivating the exterior zone lighting feature while the engine is running. Engineering is currently working on new software to correct the condition that is expected to be available in October 2021. Let the customer know they can continue to drive the vehicle and schedule a follow-up appointment for repair in November 2021. Monitor OASIS for updates.

SummarySome 2021 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a No Key Detected message displayed in the instrument cluster followed by a double horn chirp immediately after starting the vehicle. The condition is due to a software issue in the driver door module (DDM) and/or the passenger door module (PDM). Replacement or reprogramming of the DDM and/or PDM will not resolve the issue. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected to be available for service in July 2021. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule a service appointment with the customer once the repair becomes available.

SummarySome 2021 Bronco vehicles equipped with front and rear parking aid sensors may set diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for all 8 parking aid sensors and/or circuits if 2 or more rear parking aid sensors and/or circuits have a fault. This is due to the software within the parking aid module (PAM). If the PAM sets DTCs for all 8 parking aid sensors and/or circuits, diagnose the rear parking aid sensor and circuit DTCs first. Reference Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 413-13A for all parking aid diagnostic information. An update to the PAM software will be available in August 2021. Monitor OASIS for updates.

SummaryThere is expected to be a low number of vehicles found with a concern door handle. In some of the affected vehicles, the interior door handle may have excessive material present on the door handle cavity. This can cause the door handle cable to bind during operation. If the cable binds, it may result in a door that cannot be opened from the inside. The door can still be opened using the exterior door handle. It is also possible that the door cannot be closed. If the door will not close, the instrument cluster will illuminate with a Door Ajar warning
