SummaryAfter a mechatronics, torque converter, or complete gearbox replacement, the clutches must be adapted to the new component. This requires a gradual move of the clutch linings toward the optimal operating points in the most diverse load conditions. As a result, sporadic driving power disruptions lasting for less than a second or reduced shift comfort are possible over the first 500 miles. This is normal, and these issues will decrease over time. The issues can also occur if the adaptation values of the gearbox were deleted.

SummaryThe garage door opener cannot be programmed. The programming mode cannot be activated. The garage door programming cannot be erased. The method for erasing the Homelink programmed button memory is incorrectly described in the owner's manual. The incorrect description in the owner's manual is: "Erasing the buttons" Press and hold both of the outer buttons until the LED (A) turns off completely (about 20 seconds) to erase all of the buttons simultaneously". The correct way to erase the Homelink programming is to press and hold the two outer Homelink buttons, releasing only when the Homelink indicator light begins to flash after approximately 10 seconds.

SummaryDTC 03073 (Closed Rear Lid Sensor - Incorrect Signal) may be stored in the comfort system central control module, J393 (address word 46). In order for the vehicle to receive a proper rear lid status signal when the lid is operated, the paddle switches on the rear sill trim must contact the opposing lid latch points uniformly. When the rear lid is opened, the paddle switches change state and the comfort system central control module 2, J773, will read G525 and G526. It will then communicate to the comfort system central control module, J393.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 12-61 dated September 25, 2012. The customer complains that when he or she is trying to place a phone call from the vehicle while using a Bluetooth®-connected phone, the phone call disconnects before it begins and an error shows on the MMI display. The message may be "Function not supported" or "Network error". The customer is using a phone with the Android operating system. In addition, Skype®, or another network-based communication software, is installed on the phone. Call can be placed directly from the phone without a problem. When the phone gets the request to place a call from the vehicle, a prompt appears on the phone asking the user to choose how the call should be placed. If the prompt is ignored, the MMI system disconnects the call assuming the phone is not responding.
