The announcement from December 16, 2021 has been updated to highlight the following important information: ⢠QX80 vehicles still eligible for the update have been removed from Service Comm as of 02/15/2022 suspending the software update. INFINITI has determined the latest infotainment software update for QX80, which includes Wireless Apple CarPlay® may not fully address concerns INFINITI was trying to improve with the software update. ⢠INFINITI is currently working to improve the software with Wireless Apple CarPlay and we apologize for this inconvenience.

SummaryBATTERY QUICK CHARGE NOTICE SERVICE INFORMATION When charging the vehicleâs 12 volt battery with the high amperage quick charge function, the ignition should never be ON, or turned ON, while charging. Attempting to start the vehicle, or turning the ignition ON, while using the high amperage quick charge could potentially damage the fuel pump control module. ï· Only turn the ignition ON when either the ESM or a technical service bulletin service procedure states to do so, and only while using a battery maintainer or smart charger set to reflash mode, or a similar setting. ï· Battery voltage should not exceed 16V during a reprograming operation.
